### The Role: A Foundation for Growth
We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to become a foundational member of our growing team. In this role, you won't just be maintaining systems; you'll be the architect designing and building the very infrastructure that underpins the entire Peregrine platform. We believe that empathy is key to creating great products, so our engineers work closely with our team on-site to truly understand the diverse problems we're solving. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll use a variety of technologies to scale our platform, manage terabytes of data, and establish secure connections to customer networks. You'll be solving a wide range of complex and interesting challenges, including:
* Building production systems that are both highly available and secure.
* Architecting network topologies that are scalable and safe.
* Supporting the ingest engine responsible for processing massive amounts of data.
* Improving and accelerating the entire engineering lifecycle for the team.
