You probably know CLEAR for making digital and biometric ID simple, helping people prove who they are with ease. But that's just the beginning of our vision. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team and help us build what's next. This is about more than just identification—it's about creating a truly connected digital identity for our members.
As a senior engineer, you'll be right in the middle of the action, building and improving the platform that powers everything. We're talking about a system that connects tons of different attributes and qualifications, all while making sure our members' privacy and security are rock-solid. Just so you know, we figure out the exact team and level later in the interview process.

This is a hands-on role where you can make a real impact. You'll own the critical Salesforce systems that are the backbone of our business. That means making them more reliable, improving how they connect with other systems, and helping us move toward a single, reliable source for all our member data.
You won't be stuck in a corner, either. This job gives you the chance to help us grow into new industries, so you'll get to tackle some really interesting challenges around privacy, security, and data architecture. You'll be shipping code across our entire tech stack—think Java, Kafka, Postgres, and AWS. We also want you to be a champion for great engineering, pushing for better testing, clear documentation, and solid observability.
To do well here, you'll need to work closely with product managers and others to figure out what we need to build and come up with creative solutions to tricky problems. We're looking for someone who takes real ownership of their work, feels comfortable making architectural calls, and is always on the lookout for ways to make our tech and processes better.
Ultimately, if you're the kind of person who loves taking on responsibility and never stops trying to make things better, this role is for you. You enjoy owning your projects from the drawing board all the way to deployment and have a real passion for building systems that are strong, secure, and built to scale.
